Cookie Policy

This site does not use cookies

A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser so that it can recognise you on later visits. The website of Mihalache Cătălin Insolvency Practice places no such file: none for operation, none for statistics and none for advertising.

For this reason you are not asked for consent and there is no cookie settings panel. Pages load identically, whatever preferences your browser holds.

We load no resources from other services

Every element of these pages, the text, the images, the typefaces and the small programme that switches between languages, is served from this site. We use no embedded maps, no social network buttons, no video hosted elsewhere and no third-party measurement tools that could place cookies without your knowledge. The link to the practice's location, on the contact page, opens a new tab and acts only when you choose to follow it.

What the server records

Like any web server, the one hosting this site keeps a log of the requests it receives. Each entry holds the internet address the request came from, the time, the page requested, the type of browser and the referring page where one exists. This information is gathered automatically, by the working of the protocol itself, not through a cookie and not through a programme running in your browser.

Traffic statistics

From these logs, the hosting service produces statistics on the number of visits, the pages consulted most often and the volume of data transferred. We consult them to know whether the site is working properly and what information visitors are looking for. The statistics are aggregated: they concern the number of requests, not the person behind them. We build no profiles, we do not follow visitors from one site to another, and we do not combine this information with what you send us through the contact form.

Grounds and retention

Keeping the logs and producing the statistics rests on the legitimate interest of maintaining the site in working order, defending it against abusive access and understanding how it is used. The logs rotate automatically on the server, and the statistics remain as monthly totals, without individual addresses.

Controlling cookies in general

Even though our site places no cookies, your browser lets you view, delete and block them for any website, from the settings section devoted to privacy. Blocking them does not affect the working of this site in any way.

For any question concerning this policy or the processing of your information, you may write to catalin.mihalache@insolvcab.ro. Details about the information sent through the contact form and about your rights are set out in the privacy policy.
