Like the other counties, the CCIA sets up a Court of Commercial Arbitration in Giurgiu too

At its meeting of 15 October 2026 the Giurgiu Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture approved the setting up of the Court of Commercial Arbitration attached to the chamber and appointed Cătălin Mihalache, attorney at law, as its president for a 4-year term. The court gives companies in the county a faster and confidential way of settling commercial disputes, at a lower cost than court stamp duties and with specialised arbitrators chosen by the parties themselves.
